0

The future for 6G Powered by Nokia is driven by big plans for a better tech and telecoms offering. As the globe realises the rollout of 5G the world over, Nokia is ahead of the curve moving towards 6G powered by the telecoms giant. Intending to lead with multiple plans, Nokia aims to have the world’s 6G ready by 2030.

Nokia is out there to create a robust foundation that is critical for a better outcome. The timeline sets phase one to start in 2025, pushing forward to the future with the first 6G release by the year 2028 and commercial deployment by 2030. The stepping stone for 6G will be 5G-Advanced, an optimised version of 5G.

This move is set to improve the overall user experience, boost efficiency, and extend the capabilities. The plan has been set in motion that by 2025, 5G-Advanced will be the driving force for private and public networks. Nokia is leading the way towards a future with 6G available for the public, not only via phones. The 6G-ANNA plan will be led by Nokia in the hopes of putting the expertise of the Finnish giants to full use.

Nokia was once the leading phone company in the world and remains at the forefront in Europe. Europe wants to ensure that it is center stage in the birth of 6G. Nokia will lead the 6G-ANNA initiative designing an end-to-end aspect for the 6G future. More than 19 German research institutes collab with Ericsson, Airbus, Bosch, Siemens, and Vodafone to ensure the fulfillment of such a vision. Nokia’s leadership will reflect on the project’s innovation.
